We got together for Memorial Day with my side of the family at my parents home. Dad and mom organized it and prepared a lot of food. The rest of us brought food to add to the meal. It has been a while since that many of us got together at one time. I think the last time was Christmas Eve. The kids played basketball and the rest of us visited. June 1st was my birthday and Chase’s birthday. We sang to Chase and the wind blew out his candle. He opened his gift from my mom and he took off to play again. Good times!
Our family went to see the graves of my brother, grandparents and a couple of my cousins. Avery’s name came from my side of the family. Avery was my Grandpa’s middle name and West was my grandmother’s maiden name.
In the evening we took the kids swimming at the Rec. Center. Ken, Avery, Sarah and Josh came along. Avery was a little peele! He can be a handful sometimes!!!
